1 review for Sawstop sliding table

  1. 5 out of 5

I have a Sawstop Industrial 52″ with all the bells and whistles. It is a massive step up from a Triton (don’t laugh I’m serious)
I have reviewed other features of the saw.
The sliding table, though expensive, is beautifully engineered and quite robust.
I have a couple of criticisms though. The instructions and bolts supplied are not consistent with the extension table on the saw. Whereas the saw table has open through holes for attachment, the bolts supplied and instructions apply to screwed blind holes. A trip to Bunnings for new bolts and washers.
The other criticism is the adjustment slot in the fence to allow it to be moved close to the blade. The slot is not long enough when mounted on the industrial saw to get close to the blade resulting in the need to fit an auxiliary fence.
Call me fussy but I have found that the scale rules need to be adjusted regularly.
Apart from those few criticisms it is brilliant for panels though I will be making in-feed and out-feed tables (mobile of course).
